JOIN MY VINTAGE JOURNEYS WHERE I TAKE TIME TO EXPLORE, PHOTOGRAPH AND LEARN-ALONG THE WAY.------- LIFE IS A JOURNEY AND IT KEEPS GETTING BETTER. 

     I grew up in Minneapolis and have since lived in New York, Colorado, Minnesota, California, and Wisconsin. I have a background in human resources and the travel industry. In 1979, my husband and I traveled around the world together. We still love to travel, but at a more leisurely pace.
    
    I began writing My Vintage Journeys in 2010, and continue to find enjoyment in sharing my travel experiences. I prefer the slow independent travel that I refer to as traveling the vintage way. For me it's the long leisurely walks, taking photos, and writing along the way, that provide the most enjoyment.  I also love to return to places I've been. I have a particular interest in photography, history, old buildings, and doors. Although I've traveled throughout the world, few places appeal to me as much as Europe.

    When not on the road, I'm busy exploring and writing about our new home in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Ron and I recently moved here after living in San Diego for almost nine years. I guess you could say we moved back to our midwest roots, and more importantly, to be near our children.
